What’s interesting with this season is that there is a TON OF STUFF happening on the live feeds and on Showtime After Dark that isn’t being shown on TV. If there’s any season to subscribe to the live feeds, this is the one! Put a bunch of young, single, horny people together under one roof, and you can only imagine what’s going to happen. Kudos to CBS for showing Jen and Ryan having sex on the air, even if they did censor it out. But they’re not showing what a slut Natalie is.. (Exhibit A and Exhibit B). Feed watchers say that she gave her partner a BJ, even though he’s not really into her! And CBS is portraying Alex as some kind of crazy stalker, when in fact Amanda (prancing around the house showing off her ass) is causing all of the drama in the house.

That’s not all! Chelsea and James hooked up last night?! I thought for sure that James was in the closet (and he’s rumored to be featured on a gay website), but these screen captures make me wonder just what is going on.

Flavaaa Flavvv! That’s right, everyone’s favorite hip-hop bachelor is back for another season of Flavor of Love. The winners of Seasons 1 (Hoopz) and 2 (Deelishis) didn’t work out, but is that really any surprise? You could see the fear in Hoopz’s eyes when she “won”, and it turns out Deelishis just used her newfound “fame” to launch a line of jeans.

This season looks really promising.. The dates appear to be much more extravagant - Skydiving, chartering private jets, going to Paris, etc. And of course, there is another gaggle of hood rats who will fight (literally) for their man, Flava Flav! Apparently, the Internet folks decided to have fun at Flav’s expense, and sent over some absolutely horrendous ladies to participate in the show.

Of course, it came as no surprise when 4 of the 5 Internet Picks went home on the first night. If the criminal justice major didn’t spook him so badly, I think all 5 of the Internet girls would have been sent packing.

Fairplay was in pain. During the 2007 Fox Reality Channel Really Awards show, Danny Bonaduce interrupts “Survivor” star Jonny Fairplay as he’s introducing an award. Jonny does his signature monkey humping move, and Bonaduce reacts by throwing him over his head. He was rushed to the hospital, and ended up needing something like 15 hours of surgery and 4-6 root canals. He broke some bone in his mouth and is still wearing braces. Apparently Fairplay went to Survivor a week after surgery, and tried to take vicodin with him, but wasn’t allowed.

My guess is that he was still in a world of pain from the surgeries, and decided to use the pregnant fiancee as a convenient excuse to leave the show. Unfortunate timing, but such is life. Now that useless Survivor Cirie will become the swing vote between the two alliances, and will continue to float on through the game.. I’m still trying to figure out why they even cast her, as she’s far from a favorite!

Fox News is reporting that Heath Ledger has died.

He was found dead in his bed in one of his residences in Soho by his housekeeper at 3:35 PM EST today. Police said they did not suspect foul play and said they found pills near body.

The 28-year-old actor has a two year old daughter with former fiancee Michelle Williams. He was set to play the Joker in the upcoming Batman film “The Dark Knight.”

I’m getting old. Back in my younger days, I’d see new movies on opening night. When Independence Day came out, we camped out in line for hours, and it was well worth the wait! These days, I usually wait for movies to come out on DVD. But Cloverfield caught my attention early on, and I just had to see it. Plus, this seemed like one of those movies you’d want to see on the big screen.. Of course, a 10:30pm Friday night showing wasn’t doing it for me, so we instead opted for the 10:30AM showing on Sunday morning. (And as an added bonus, we got the $5 matinee rate!)

Friends had warned us ahead of time that the filming style was similar to the Blair Witch Project. I didn’t really give that much thought, as Blair Witch didn’t bother me in the least. 5 minutes into Cloverfield, I was already starting to get dizzy from the constant camera movement. By the end of the movie, I was feeling pretty queasy. Nonetheless, the movie itself was awesome. The way that the movie is told (as footage recovered by the military after the fact) is a novel way of doing things. It’s tough to classify this movie, but it has something for everyone. It’s definitely Godzilla-esque, but there’s also an underlying love story going on between Rob and Beth. The movie introduces more questions than it answers, and the Internet is buzzing about Cloverfield and all of it’s hidden meanings. Will there be a sequel? It’s too soon to tell, but I’d definitely be up for it. Hopefully it would answer some of those lingering questions, and give us the closure we desire.

On a scale of 1-10, I’d give it a solid 9.

I’ve been a life-long Charmin user. Even when “fancier” varients came to market, I stuck with my tried-and-true Charmin Regular (with the red label). Then a few months ago, Procter & Gamble decided to confuse everyone by discontinuing Charmin Regular, and replacing it with Charmin Ultra Strong (in indentical packaging), along with Charmin Ultra Soft (with a blue label). I didn’t even notice the change in wording, and picked up the one in the red packaging.

We IMMEDIATELY noticed the difference. This shit (no pun intended) was ROUGH! Wipe too many times, and your ass starts bleeding!? This was going to be a rough time, as we had bought the mega 24-roll pack. Thankfully, we finally finished up with them, and decided to try the Ultra Soft product instead. Can we say dingleberry central? Ugh. It’s definitely soft, but it’s too messy for my tastes.

Contacting Charmin confirmed my worst fears - Charmin Regular had been discontinued. But never fear, they’ve got something called Charmin Basic, which is supposed to be very similar to the discontinued Charmin Regular.. It’s got some bizzare looking packaging, but I’m willing to overlook that if it meets my needs. Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to find this varient ANYWHERE. I don’t know if stores aren’t carrying it because of it’s ugly packagine or what, but I’m pretty bummed..

BRING BACK CHARMIN REGULAR!

Another season of The Amazing Race came to close last night.. Once again, a pretty dull finale with nothing really challenging to seperate the pack. The race really came down to the best taxi driver, and the most undeserving team (Team Dirty Hippies) wins. TK and Rachel should have gotten the boot weeks ago, but time and time again they were “saved”. A non-elimination round saved them, but they faced HUGE odds, being almost 5 hours behind the next closest team. No worries though, as everyone (predictably) got jammed up at the airport. The infamous U-Turn takes almost no time (or skill), and some unfortunate luck for the Goths gave the Hippies the edge they needed to squeak on by to the next round.

Once Azaria & Hendekea got the boot, I was sincerely rooting for Ronald and Christina to win it all. They played a flawless game, and it was truly sad to see them lose at the end by a matter of minutes.

When are producers going to realize that you CAN’T find love on reality TV? Nearly every couple on The Bachelor has broken up after the show. Same goes for Flavor Flav, New York, Bret Michaels, and countless others. Yet the public can’t get enough of these guilty pleasures, so they keep pushing out more shows.

The latest victim is Tila Tequila - Her romance with A Shot at Love winner Bobby Banhart is over. Rumors are swirling over what really happened. Tequila says that Banhart had broken up with her because of her hectic work schedule, while Banhart posted on MySpace that “she never called me after the last show, and no one would give me her number.”

MTV conveniently announced Wednesday that a second season of A Shot at Love will air this spring, with a fresh crop of guys and gals competing for her favor.

Reports are pouring in from all over the web that Journeyman has been “cancelled.” There has been no announcement that the show is canceled. There is only news that NBC let a deadline pass for picking up the rest of season one. We should seize this opportunity to let everyone know that we haven’t given up on Journeyman. If you see a news source, whether it is a blog, newspaper or whatever, reporting that Journeyman has been “canceled,” let them know via a comment or e-mail that there is still life, and that SaveJourneyman.net is dedicated to keeping the show alive!
